Claude Delebruere wrote last January: "I built the the airplane from Volmers plans. It took five years of R&D to do the engine with the help of a good machine shop. I have 95 hours flown on it and a total of 120 hours on the engine. The performance is excellent, off the water in 12 to 15 seconds."
